Hilary Walker

Once Hilary started working in early childhood education, she discovered her love for watching young minds grow and flourish, and it was at this point when she knew working with children was her calling in life.

In addition to Honeycomb Preschool, Hilary owns Charlotte’s Web Preschool and Kidz Klub House. In 2021 Hilary was featured on the cover of Sophisticated Woman magazine which spotlights exceptional women in business. The cover story highlighted Hilary as St. Tammany Parish’s largest child care and preschool provider as well as the largest privately owned employer in St. Tammany Parish.

Megan Holmes Braud

In 2008, Megan began her career of working with children. Looking to expand her knowledge of early childhood education, Megan accepted a position with Kidz Klub House Slidell in 2018. During her time as a lead teacher, Megan earned her Child Development Associates credential. She continued her education earning an Associate's Degree in the Care and Development of Young Children from Nunez Community College.  She then transitioned into the role of a Mentor, supporting and coaching teachers with their growth in the early childhood education field. In October of 2021, Megan became the Director of Honeycomb Preschool. Megan and her husband, Lloyd, live in Slidell raising their four children Joel, Jake, Gage, and Allie.

Megan's favorite things about working with children are creating positive learning environments where children have the opportunity to thrive and encouraging the growth and development for our youngest learners.

Shelby Snyder

Shelby began her journey with Honeycomb Preschool Slidell in March of 2020 as the Lead Tweeny Teacher. In December of 2021, Shelby earned her Infant and Toddler CDA certification. She was named Teacher of the Year in 2021. Shelby has been a part of dozens of children’s educational journey at Honeycomb Preschool as she has also held the role of Lead Pre-K 3 teacher in 2022 and Lead Pre-K 4 teacher in 2023. Aside from her ability to successfully manage a classroom, Shelby has been able to assist her co-teachers in CLASS preparation, classroom set-up, lesson planning, and more! Because of her leadership qualities and love of Honeycomb, Shelby was promoted to Director in May of 2024. We are excited to see all that she will accomplish in this role and the continued growth Honeycomb will have under her leadership. When asked why she loves her job, Shelby said, “Being a part of a child’s growth and development is rewarding. I have the privilege of helping children build a strong foundation for their future!”
